South America is a major producer of fine organic gourmet olives. Who Knew? We did but when I first heard about olives coming from South America I admit I was suspect . . . cacao, acai, yerba mate Yes . . . but olives? When I hear the word olive I automatically think Greece, Italy or Spain. But now when I hear gourmet, organic and raw I think Peru.

We feel the Peruvian olives we have on our shelves are some of the best gourmet organic, healthy olives around. They are not only good for you but taste just amazing. Olives make a great appetizer for entertaining -- just open the jar, put then in a bowl and serve. They also make a wonderful addition to salads or other dishes.
