Nutrez Hawaii was found in 1990 by Dr. Gerald Cysewski in Kaulua-Kona, Hawaii. Their mission is to take the health benefits of microalgae worldwide, and to help extend the lives of their customers.
Nutrex Hawaii's farm receives the most sunlight of any coastal location in the United States. This enables Nutrex Hawaiian Spirulina Pacifica to continuously grow all 12 months of the year. The water they use is collected from the Big Island's aquifer, which is pristine. Ultra-Pure Deep Ocean water is added to their Spirulina to add trace minerals and elements. Nutrex Hawaii's goal is to leave the environment in better condition than when they started.
